Hey...I never knew Republic Pictures made cartoons as well as serials, B-westerns, and cheap horror flicks-but evidentaly here's evidence from 1947--a character called "Charlie Horse" -this short titled "It's A Grand Old Nag" was prodcued by Bob CLampett and Republic Pictures in 1947-Clampett used the name "Kilroy" when directing these shorts. The style of animation and humor from the Warner Brothers cartoons is well evidenced hee..so let's enjoy....
