Aki Aleong- Magic Lover Man [1962]

This is a 45 that I found in a junk shop. It's a nice popcorn soul stroller [I've picked up these weird terms from various British and Europ web sites]. I posted this on You Tube myslef so I thought I'd post it here!!

Seven Foot Dilly - a 78 from 1930

I found this 78 at a flea market and sold it for 400 bucks within three hours of gettng it home. It is by Seven Foot Dilly and his Dill Pickles from 1930 on the Brunswick label. The song is Kenesaw Mountain Rag. This is my first attempt at making a video for this and putting it on You Tube--not too shabby eh??

Dorse Lewis--The Scared Coal Miner --Mexican Twist

Dorse Lewis--the Scared Coal Miner--does his big hit 'Mexican Twist"!!

Johnny T Talley-I've Changed My Wild Mind [1956]

I first heard this on the old Mercury Rocakbillies LP in the late 70s. I never get sick of hearing it, even after 30 years!!

Harmonica Frank Floyd-Rock a Little Baby [19587]

From 1958 , Frank did this as half a side--the other side was by Larry McKennon-Monkey Love. This is the better of the two songs..

Lew Williams- Something I Said [1956]

Here's some nice cool Texas rockabilly from 1956 !!!!!!!!!

Gene Vincent- Rocky Road Blues [1963]

From a live show in Belgium comes this little goodie

Scrappy Cartoon-The Little Pest [1931]

Another rare Columbia cartoon. Here's Scrappy!!!!

Krazy Kat Cartoon-Weenie Roast [1931]

Here's an old and rare cartoon for ya. Columbia Pictures released cartoons back in the 1930S and 40s under the name SCREEN GEMS. Krazy Kat and Scrappy were once popular back then but somehow they never made TV magic in the 50s and 60s and are therefore forgotten by all but the most avid cartoon geeks like myself.
