Wall-Of-Soundalikes [Podcast]

Wall-Of-Soundalikes [The Best Records, Phil Spector Never Produced!]•
I’ve totally gone 180 degrees here, but I know I have friends of the show that DO prefer 60s pop over 50s country–so you boppers and honky tonkers can take a break and go out and enjoy the Spring–haha!

This time were are doing records by those who were influenced by Phil Spector’s Wall-Of-Sound productions–many of these folks were actually watching Phil and taking notes [Sonny Bono, Brian Wilson, Nino Tempo etc..]…even Berry Gordy observed so we have an hours’ worth of delights by The Beach Boys, Sonny & Cher, The Four Tops, Ruby and the Romantics, Kane and Abel, Clydie King, The Dreamlovers. and others

Podcast-Gospel Roots

Gospel Roots• No Comments (Edit)
This is a show I put together for Easter Week. I lik the early gospel sounds anyway, so I may do more in the future. There is both black and white gospel–with a rural flavor.

artists include The Browns Ferry Four, SIster O M Terrell, Carl Smith, Lil’ McClintock, Eddie Head, Reno & Smiley, The Radio Four, and a triple shot of Brother Claude Ely.
