Eddie Cochran [1938-1960]
50 years .............not a happy anniversary but one to remember..

I was born just a couple of weeks after he passed away, but grew up to really love his music, starting with the Liberty double LP that came out in 1971. His guitar work was incredible, versatile, and would have gone to even greater heights had he lived. He died at such a young age but had achieved much in his short life. And on my stereo he lives forever!
What utterly brilliant footage - and how ahead of his time was he. Only 20 and you see he was smarter than 95% of the pack. What a loss. I reviewed the Bear Family Box Set years back with a full UK and US discography is anyone's interested. The blessed Eddie...
