This is a 45 that I found in a junk shop. It's a nice popcorn soul stroller [I've picked up these weird terms from various British and Europ web sites]. I posted this on You Tube myslef so I thought I'd post it here!!
Today Sesame Street turns 40--I was in first grade when it premiered. However, I was already reading and writing and saw no need to learn any more of that..now if I could only spell..
anyway here's Little Richard in the "tubby" with his Rubber Duckie..OH SHUT UP!!!!!
I found this 78 at a flea market and sold it for 400 bucks within three hours of gettng it home. It is by Seven Foot Dilly and his Dill Pickles from 1930 on the Brunswick label. The song is Kenesaw Mountain Rag. This is my first attempt at making a video for this and putting it on You Tube--not too shabby eh??
Here's an old and rare cartoon for ya. Columbia Pictures released cartoons back in the 1930S and 40s under the name SCREEN GEMS. Krazy Kat and Scrappy were once popular back then but somehow they never made TV magic in the 50s and 60s and are therefore forgotten by all but the most avid cartoon geeks like myself.
