Sadly, I was going past the Dekalb airport about 20 minutes after the crash and seen the burning remains. I did not learn until the next morning listening to the radio what I had saw. Rick was one of the good guys!

I remember that night very well. I was dong my mobile disc jockey thing that New Years Eve and a guy came up and told me about Rick's passing. Good thing I brought some of his music with me.
