KItty Wells-It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels

Well--at last here's one that's still alive--she just turned 90. Kitty Wells is still the queen of country music--most of today's country fans will prbably say Kitty who???..but she is one of the classic female country artists..in fact she is the first female to go right to the top of the country charts..and she didnt have to get breast implants to help her records sell either.

Man oh Man--I don't want this blog to look like an obituary column, but I can't help it lately, first MJ , then Gordon Waller, Billy Lee Riley, and now the last of the classic guitar wizards..and this guy next to Chet was one of the HEAVIES!!. I mean this guy invented stereo -not to mention his guitar prowess and the overdub process!!

Another one has left us. One of the pioneers of rockabilly, Billy Lee Riley has passed. He did this legendary 45 for SUN in 1957. A classic!!!!!!!!!!
